My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend at the Castlemaine Inn and could not have been more impressed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They had excellent suggestions for everything from hiking trails to lobster pounds.

The inn was the cleanest place I've ever stayed, and the staff friendly and efficient.

Our room was very cheery, very clean, and very quiet. The breakfast served on the front veranda was wonderful, and what a variety! Staying here made our trip to Bar Harbor very pleasant.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff takes such good care of them. The bed was truly the most comfortable we have ever slept on while traveling.
